A stay at Lazy Rooster Ranch is never boring. Whether you are looking for nature adventures, family fun or social entertainment, we have plenty for you to enjoy during your time with us.





Dispersed Campsite

Pitch a tent at one of our campsites next to the beautiful Dolores River, on this 50 acre ranch. Campsites include a fire ring, picnic table, solar charging station, access to our fully stocked communal outdoor kitchens, yard games and other on-site amenities.

The sites can accommodate up to four people, however we do have a limited number of group sites available upon request.





Cozy Cabin

The cute cozy cabin features a queen size bed and fresh linens, a solar powered battery to charge phones, a fan and lights (however not all chargeable at the same time). We also provide a lantern, a propane heater, a smoke and carbon monoxide detector and a fan. This cabin can accommodate up to two people.





A-Frame Cabin

These private cabins are located a few minutes walk from all the amenities the camp has to offer. The a-frame cabins provide a comfortable bed, fresh linens along with a solar powered battery to charge phones, a fan and lights (however not all chargeable at the same time). We also provide a lantern, a propane heater, a smoke and carbon monoxide detector and a fan.

The cabins are 16'x22' and feature a king or two twin beds and can accommodate up to two people.





Tipi

The tipi features a comfortable bed, fresh linens, and a solar powered battery to charge phones, a fan and lights (however not all chargeable at the same time). We also provide a lantern, a propane heater, a smoke and carbon monoxide detector and a fan.

Small tipi is 16' and features a queen size beds and can accommodate up to two people.

Large tipi is 22' and features a king or two twin beds and can accommodate up to two people.





Canvas Wall Tent

The canvas wall tents feature a comfortable bed and fresh linens, solar powered battery to charge phones, a fan and lights (however not all chargeable at the same time). We also provide a lantern, a propane heater, a smoke and carbon monoxide detector and a fan.

Small tent is 12’x14’ and features a comfortable queen size bed and can accommodate up to two people.

Large tent is 16’x20’ and features a comfortable king size bed and a kitchenette, and can accommodate up to two people.







Things to Know

  • There is a small yard outside of each site that includes a fire ring, camp chairs and picnic table. Guests also have access to our fully stocked communal outdoor kitchens, yard games, fire pits and other on-site amenities.
  • There is no running water at the sites, however drinking water and water to clean up with will be provided for your stay.
  • There is no shower or toilet at the site. However, there is a clean and sustainable shared outhouse within a short walk of the sites. You are always welcome to visit the Matterhorn campground (15 minutes driving) for a $8 shower.
  • This space is off-grid, so please be aware there is no air conditioning. There is a fan you can use that runs off solar. This space is perfect from early morning until about 11am and then from around 4pm on. Mid day can be a bit hot and we suggest going out on day trips to explore and go on adventures. If you are booking in late May, September or October just be aware of the temperatures dropping.
